#17 - Wishing and Hoping...

"I have a dream. Do you?"

Gabbing on:
"Do you have a dream or is it just a 'hope' disguised as a dream?

A dream demands that you actively participate in achieving a desired goal.
A dream does not exist without you creating it.
A dream is an end goal generated from your aspirations, sense of self (identity), insecurities/securities, intention and values (personal, family and societal).

A hope, unlike a dream, only requests your passive engagement towards achieving an outcome that you may or may not be committed to.
A hope does not demand your total commitment. It provides you with a 'way out' should you not achieve a possibility.
A hope does not require a clear intention.
A hope leaves your power of 'personal choice' somewhat submissive and partially used.

To dream is to see a future with your place in it.
To hope is to glance at the future and pray you have a place in it.

So, I have a dream...do you?
Does your 'hope' need a boost of commitment to be upgraded into a dream?
