Gabbing on:
"The universe does not say it will do 'this thing' but 'not this thing'. All outcomes and actions are a possibility.
These possibilities happen naturally in relation to the context, intention and actions of a situation. There is a sense that we can make something happen or stop something from happening according to a plan. Regrettably, nothing has this level of control, least of all us. We are however able to influence and contribute to occurrences and events, but rarely according to our design.
The moment we act upon something that exists in a certain way, is the moment that that thing finds a new way to exist, beyond our want and expectation.
A river flows naturally down into the valley, when we attempt to control its flow by building a dam for example, it naturally find another way to flow or another place to flow to.
Things occur naturally, when we influence them they find another way of being and this way is rarely the way that we have mapped out in our "cause and effect" mindset."
