"It is easy to get on a train of opinion, belief and action, when it is filled with passengers and you know exactly where it is going. It is a different story when no one is on board and you must determine the train's destination or trust that conductor knows where he is taking you.

When everyone is in agreement, it is easy to follow the crowd. When you have an unmeasured perspective that has not been accepted, you are now entering into the place of definition and defining. This is where original people that we call great are born.

You must place at risk that which you are comfortable with and rely upon, if you are move to a new perspective and do what has never been done before. Believe what has never been believed before. Think what has never been thought of before."

"To be 'like', similar, or the same as, is to fit in and be accepted for meeting what is expected of you. You are not only acceptable but celebrated and even popular.
To be 'unlike' is to risk not fitting in and to potentially be seen unpopular. But it is through the 'unlike' and dissimilar filters that one more often than not will find originality, authenticity and personal meaning.

There are few positive rewards for being 'unlike' what is and has been before. It is often a lonely and solitary journey to walk an original path that is not accepted by the majority. But this is the road to self-definition, personal value development and meaningfulness.

Rarely are those that fit the consensus of being 'like', ever seen as inspiring, memorable and celebrated beyond the moments that they are currently living in. The mavericks of 'unlike' have left their mark on the minds, values and dreams of the generations that have dared to follow in their aspirations.

Each journey towards greatness is 'unlike' every other journey before it. It takes courage to walk the path of the unmajority.
